W. Scott Greco has thirty years of experience arbitrating and litigating investor claims against stockbrokers and investment advisers for claims of securities fraud, churning, unauthorized trading, theft, unsuitable recommendations, and other broker malpractice. These proceedings include FINRA arbitrations, AAA arbitrations, and lawsuits in federal and state courts. Mr. Greco is currently admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., but represents investors across the country. He received his B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 1991 and his J.D. from the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 1994. Mr. Greco regularly appears as a guest lecturer at Georgetown Law School on the topic of FINRA securities arbitrations and lectures fellow attorneys in Virginia and nationwide continuing legal education classes. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Public Investors Advocate Bar Association, the only nationwide bar association of lawyers representing investors against their financial advisors. Working in the firm's McLean, Virginia (Fairfax County in Northern Virginia) and Charlottesville, Virginia offices, he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for Washington, D.C., the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the U.S. District Court for Colorado, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Tenth Circuits and is a member of the Fairfax County, Virginia Bar Association and the McLean Bar Association. Mr. Greco is also a Member of the FINRA Dispute Resolution, Inc. Board of Arbitrators.
