Troy Hunter Available Now

Soon after passing the bar, Troy had the honor of working with pre-eminent plaintiffs’ personal injury attorney, Tom Chambers, who went on to serve on the Washington State Supreme Court. Troy went on to work for 16 years in insurance defense litigation, mostly as a partner at the prestigious defense firm, Floyd, Pflueger & Ringer. There he defended insurance companies and their corporate clients against diverse claims for personal injury and wrongful death and property damage due to fire loss and construction defects. Since leaving FP&R, Troy has used this experience to represent and benefit his personal injury clients against the very insurance companies he once represented. He has argued cases at every level in Washington, from district courts to the State Supreme Court. He also serves as a dispute mediator, learning creative settlement and resolution strategies that he puts to good use in settling his own clients' cases. At University of Washington Law School, Troy received Moot Court honors, earned an International Award for Excellence in Mediation and was recognized for his outstanding skills in trial advocacy by the National Order of the Barristers. Troy lives in Bellevue with his wife, Kathleen, and their dogs, Tsavo, Abby and Sasha. Troy is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Washington.
