About Tricia Crabtree
I earned my undergraduate degree with honors in 2022 from the University of Central Florida, where I majored in Psychology and minored in Diversity and Social Inequality.
After completing my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, I moved to Chicago to attend law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law. I graduated Cum Laude in 2025 with my Juris Doctor in Law.
During law school, I was recognized for my academic achievements and received three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Employment Discrimination, Trial Advocacy 2, and Evidence. I was also an active member of the Moot Court Honor Society, where I competed and coached as an appellate advocate.
In 2023, I interned with Cabrini Green Legal Aid, assisting in expunging and sealing criminal records. I also worked in Chicago-Kentβs Civil Litigation Clinic, focusing on Employment Discrimination cases and Β§ 1983 matters. The following year, I interned at the Midwest Innocence Project in Kansas City, where I contributed to the litigation of wrongful conviction cases for clients impacted by police misconduct and discriminatory investigation practices.
My practice primarily centers on Police Misconduct and Employment Discrimination cases. I handle matters involving wrongful detentions, false arrests, unreasonable searches, malicious prosecutions, excessive force, due process violations, and other forms of police misconduct. Additionally, I litigate employment cases involving discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, criminal records, and other protected characteristics.
I have a deep passion for civil rights, which inspired me to pursue a career in law. I bring that commitment to every case, advocating for individuals whose rights have been violated.
