Mr. Borkowski advises clients in all facets of Estate Planning, Probate law, Real Estate, Corporate Law and Corporate Transactions. Estate Planning includes advising clients with regard to Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Last Will & Testament, Living Wills and Medical Power of Attorney, and Durable Power of Attorney. Mr. Borkowski represents clients in both commercial and residential real estate transactions from either a buyer or seller prospective. Mr. Borkowski also represents clients regarding decedent’s probate estates, trust administrations and guardianship and conservatorship matters. He has many years of experience appearing before the Probate Courts in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Genesee, Washtenaw, Saginaw, St. Clair and Bay Counties. Mr. Borkowski’s accounting background and completion of the Certified Public Accountants’ examination allows him to be well-versed in the preparation of federal estate tax returns and has negotiated federal estate tax audits with the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Borkowski’s previous corporate representations have included matters involving negotiation and sale of a long-established manufacturing business, succession planning for a family owned business, commercial lease transactions, as well as preparation of estate plans for multi-million dollar and small estates.
