Theodore Potkonjak Available Now

Ted began his career in the Lake County State's Attorney's Office serving there from 1982 to 1987. He rose quickly becoming a felony trial attorney in the Career Offender and Narcotics Division and a Division Chief. He was an associate with the Law Form of Smoker and Starck from 1987 to 1991. He was a sole practitioner in his own firm, the Law Office of Theodore S. Potkonjak. Additionally during this time he also served as Special Public Defender as a felony trial attorney. In 2002 Ted was became an Associate Judge in Lake County, serving for 22 1/2 years, retiring in October 2024. In December 2024, he reopened the Law Office of Theodore S. Potkonjak specializing in criminal defense.
