I have practiced intellectual property law since 1982. I represent clients in intellectual property litigation, and in United States and international prosecution matters. My litigation experience involves patents, trademarks, copyrights, unfair competition and trade secrets. Technical expertise includes audio and video circuitry, computer hardware and software, database systems, electronic commerce, electronic discharge machining (EDM), multimedia and digital communications, online auction technology, semiconductor devices, telecommunications, and the general mechanical arts. I have managed corporate transactions involving the transfer of intellectual property and licensing rights, infringement and validity opinions. Construction and management of intellectual property licensing programs, and counseling are also areas of my practice. Licensed in the States of Illinois and Wisconsin Admitted to many federal courts, the United States Supreme Court, and United States Patent & Trademark Office.
