Stephen Suggs Available Now

I was inspired to help others by my father, a lawyer whose commitment to justice made a lasting impact on me. Growing up in Easley, South Carolina, I saw firsthand the challenges my community faced, including the devastating effects of brown lung disease. These experiences shaped my desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I earned my B.S. from the University of South Carolina in 1996 and my Juris Doctor from the USC School of Law in 1999, where I served as Vice-President of Student Trial Lawyers. After spending nearly a decade with the non-profit Appleseed Legal Justice Center, where I worked on significant civil rights cases, I joined Stewart Law Offices in 2018 to continue advocating for victims and their families. I am guided by the belief that “the law is never right until it is just,” and I approach every case with dedication, integrity, and passion. When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking for my wife, Holly, and our five children, spending time outdoors, and celebrating victories on the family basketball court. I am licensed in South Carolina and based in the Columbia, SC office.
