Sharon Jones Available Now

Sharon Jones is an Atlanta native who has practiced law for over thirty years in courtrooms throughout Georgia. Prior to joining Meriwether and Tharp's Savannah office, Sharon owned a general practice law firm, where she focused on family law. Sharon has handled a variety of civil legal matters, including real property disputes and closings, probate, contracts, and personal injury. She is proud to have represented the interests of children as guardian ad litem in private custody cases, as well as guardian ad litem and child advocate attorney in Juvenile Court. While a litigator and fighter at heart, Sharon is happy to put together a settlement agreement for her clients whenever possible to lessen the emotional pain and financial expense of divorce court. She is committed to guiding her clients through difficult legal situations by explaining the process to her clients in plain, easy-to-understand language. In her personal time, Sharon enjoys daily walks through Savannah's Historic District with her husband and two tiny chihuahuas.
