About Scott Friedman
I have experience working on cases in federal, state, and military courts. My legal journey started with the United States Army Judge Advocate Generalβs Corps ("JAG Corps"), where I served as a military prosecutor at Fort Hood, Texas. During that time, I handled cases involving serious felonies, including involuntary manslaughter, sexual assault, child abuse, drug trafficking, theft of military equipment, and military desertion. In 2011, I volunteered to deploy to Iraq as part of Operation New Dawn. While in Iraq, I contributed to the U.S. Armyβs Rule of Law Mission by assisting local Iraqi authorities in prosecuting insurgents captured by coalition forces.
After serving five years on active duty, I transitioned out of the Army and began focusing on litigation. I worked at a large law firm in Indiana before returning to Cleveland to establish my own law practice. I now use my background as a litigator and former JAG Corps attorney to represent individuals and businesses throughout Northeast Ohio.
