About Sarah Carmody
Sarah Carmody is the managing attorney of Sarah Carmody Law, LLC, a boutique firm focusing exclusively on family law issues. Sarah graduated cum laude from Ball State University in 2003 and earned her juris doctorate from UMKC School of Law in 2008. Sarah has was raised by a single mother and is now a mother herself. Due to her childhood, Sarah is committed to a smooth transition for children during the difficult process of divorce or other custody disputes.
Sarah serves on a variety of legal committees including the Kansas Bar Association Executive Committee, Family Law Section. She is a member of the Johnson County Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, and the Missouri Bar. She previously participated in the Johnson County Family Law American Inn of Court. Sarah has also given several continuing legal educations presentations for the Kansas Bar Association and Johnson County Bar Association.
