Samuel Bass Available Now

I am a personal injury attorney dedicated to holding corporations and insurance companies accountable when they try to avoid responsibility. Licensed to practice in South Carolina and multiple federal courts, I focus my work on cases involving car accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, motorcycle accidents, and workers’ compensation claims. Since joining Stewart Law Offices in 2015, I’ve been honored with recognition for my efforts, including being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2020 and One to Watch by Best Lawyers in 2021. I am also a certified mediator. My background has given me a unique perspective and shaped me into an effective advocate. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Lee University, I spent time in Taiwan teaching English to preschoolers before pursuing my law degree at the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating in 2008. Later, I returned to Taiwan on a full scholarship from the Ministry of Education to study Chinese at National Taiwan University. My experiences abroad, combined with my time as both a prosecutor and private attorney, have strengthened my communication skills and deepened my commitment to standing up for people who might otherwise be ignored, pressured, or mistreated. When I’m not working hard for my clients, you’ll often find me at home perfecting barbeque recipes on the smoker for my wife Elizabeth and our three children. I also enjoy attempting to play golf, though I hope to improve one day. While my work is important to me, the most meaningful part of my day is coming home to my family.
