Prior to founding Pharos Law Group, I worked in Chicago for two of the world’s leading law firms and also worked at one of Utah’s premier law firms. These firms provided superb legal training, but I was often frustrated with the “impersonal” nature of working for large international business entities and the lack of opportunity to assist families and individuals in a meaningful way. When I decided to venture out on my own, my prior law firm experiences led me to focus exclusively on estate planning. I am now able to provide clients with a full range of basic and advanced estate, legacy and financial planning options. I also continue to be involved in a variety of commercial transactions, both large and small. I am married, with 3 children, an avid cyclist, runner (3 marathons) and I enjoy most other sports. When reading for enjoyment (rather than legal education), I enjoy just about anything by Dickens, Tolstoy or Dumas.
