About Ryan Garrette
Ryan (he/him) is a member of the firmโs Litigation practice group and has a cross-disciplinary practice, helping individual and business clients with a wide variety of legal matters. His focus includes civil rights, personal injury, municipal law, land use/zoning, family law, and general civil litigation.
Ryan graduated from UNH Lawโs prestigious Daniel Webster Scholars Honors Program where he focused his efforts on understanding the breadth of New Hampshireโs state court system, serving as a legal resident at both the New Hampshire Supreme Court and 1st and 3rd Circuit Courts. After graduation, Ryan completed a 2-year clerkship at Merrimack County Superior Court in Concord while teaching State Constitutional Law at UNH Law.
In private practice, Ryan employs a pragmatic approach to achieve his clientsโ goals. His court experience helps him educate clients about their options and their practical implications, so the client can make decisions with agency and confidence. Ryanโs polished research, writing, and oral skills make him a highly effective litigator in the courtroom.
Prior to his legal career, Ryan served 6 years in the Navy as a Submarine Nuclear Reactor Operator. He continues to serve through non-profit volunteer work, where he helps veterans apply to law school.
