I focus my practice on nearly all aspects of health care business, contract, regulatory, and related matters. I have significant experience drafting and negotiating agreements and structuring operations and arrangements for physicians, ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, office-based surgical facilities, urgent care centers, and various other health care professionals and facilities. My knowledge of regulatory matters allows me to ensure legal compliance in the deals I structure. I am well-versed in the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, other fraud and abuse laws and regulations, HIPAA, fee splitting laws, and the rules governing professional misconduct at both state and federal levels. I often assist in establishing practices and large medical groups, managing the purchase and sale of practices and facilities, and facilitating management service organization relationships, inter-facility affiliations, acquisitions, and joint ventures. I also draft and negotiate shareholder and operating agreements, asset purchase agreements, employment agreements, equipment and intellectual property licenses, management agreements, marketing and sales representative agreements, billing agreements, and software-related contracts.
