I focus my practice on catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and workers compensation. Known as a fighter in the courtroom, just ask the lawyers who have faced me in trial. I was raised on my family's farm in Union County, South Carolina. I graduated from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 2003, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Government with the highest distinction in my major. I graduated as a summa cum laude graduate and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa and Blue Key honor societies due to my academic achievements and service to the community and students. During my time at Wofford, I served as a Justice of Wofford's Judicial Commission and was elected as Student Body President in 2002. Upon graduation, I received the Outstanding Citizen Award, which is given to the student demonstrating the greatest concern and service to Wofford. I earned my Juris Doctorate in 2006 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Upon graduation, I was honored by my peers with the Claude Sapp Award, presented to the member of the graduating class possessing the best combination of scholarship, leadership, and industry for the legal profession. As a trial attorney, I dedicate my practice to protecting my clients' legal rights.
