Philip Anthony Available Now

Philip M. Anthony is the Managing Member of Jeffords Anthony and guides clients through a variety of tax and legal challenges. With a background that spans both law and accountancy, Philip is known for his down-to-earth approach and practical solutions for individuals, businesses, and organizations. Philip received his Bachelor of Accountancy Degree (BACC) from Mississippi State University, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Mississippi College School of Law. During law school, he was an active member of the Moot Court Board and served as Trial Advocacy Chairman. He later earned a Master’s in Tax Law (LL.M.) from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, which deepened his ability to assist clients with complex tax matters. Philip’s work has been recognized within the legal and local business communities. He was honored as the Best Business and Startup Attorney in the 2020 Best of Jackson awards as well as a finalist for Best Tax Attorney, Best Estate Planning Attorney, and Best Local Attorney. Philip was also recognized as a “Leader in Law” by the Mississippi Business Journal in 2023. Outside his professional life, Philip, his wife Taylor, and their son Sanders are active members of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Jackson, where he currently serves on the Board of Deacons. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Stuart Smith Memorial Golf Tournament, helping raise funds for suicide prevention and scholarships for Madison County students in memory of Stuart Smith. In his free time, Philip enjoys supporting Mississippi State athletics, spending time outdoors hunting, and golfing with friends and family.
