Attorney Paul D. McCarthy is the Founder and Managing Partner of MAC Law Group, LLC. He has focused his practice of law on Bankruptcy, Foreclosure Defense, Asset Protection and Consumer Protection for more than 15 years. Prior to practicing law, Attorney McCarthy managed, operated and owned several real estate brokerages and mortgage banking companies. This experience gave him extensive knowledge in defending the public against abusive practices of mortgage lenders and real estate brokers. He is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). He is regularly relied on to provide information to the local Massachusetts chapter of NACBA and has given seminars regarding foreclosure defense, loan modifications and bankruptcy. He has successfully sued several of the largest mortgage lender/mortgage servicers in the country, including, but not limited to, Bank of America, Countrywide Home Loans, Ameriquest Mortgage Company, JP Morgan Chase Bank, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Central Mortgage Company and One West Bank, formerly known as IndyMac Federal Savings Bank. He has a bachelor of science degree from Bentley College in economics and finance with extensive knowledge in accounting and his Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law.
