About Nicholas LaFountain
Attorney Nicholas J. LaFountain has been successfully representing clients inside and outside of the courtroom since 2004. As an attorney his negotiating experience, knowledge of the law, and familiarity with the court system help him achieve favorable results for his clients. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Attorney LaFountain was also trained in how to mediate cases, and he is a current member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation.
Attorney LaFountain primarily focuses his legal practice on divorce/family law. He does still accept and enjoy working on other types of civil litigation cases. As an experienced divorce lawyer, Attorney LaFountain understands that divorce/family law cases involve much more than dividing property, or who sees the children when. The emotional toll of a dissolving marriage can be devastating, to both the parties and their children. Attorney LaFountain keeps that in mind at all steps, to better help resolve the matter at hand, and to try minimizing post-divorce conflicts once the case is resolved.
