Nicholas Bates is a founding member and partner in The Bates & Merryman Law Firm LLC. He was born and raised in Kansas City, attending Lincoln Prep for high school and graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Nicholas has been a lifelong resident of Kansas City, attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City for both his Bachelor's and law Degrees. Nicholas has dedicated his entire practice of law to fighting for the rights of his clients. Specifically, he has primarily worked in the field of criminal defense and personal injury. Prior to forming The Bates & Merryman Law Firm LLC, Nicholas worked as a Trial Attorney for the Public Defenders Office for the State of Missouri. With The Bates & Merryman Law Firm LLC, Nicholas’ practice focuses on all Criminal Defense Matters, Traffic Law, and Personal Injury.
