Nate has dedicated his career to protecting people accused of crimes. During his practice as a public defender, Nate learned what works to get decent results in the toughest situations and knows how to actually help people. Nate has successfully represented clients on all levels and types of felony cases and trained new lawyers in defender offices. Nate was trained in trial skills at the nationally renowned Colorado State Public Defender system and learned the “Colorado method” of jury selection and the chapter method of cross examination from some of its creators at the State Public Defender. Nate was born and raised in San Diego, earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Riverside, and his law degree at the University of San Diego. He additionally holds a degree in accounting. Prior to law school, Nate worked as a financial analyst in the investment bank at JP Morgan.
