CURRENT EMPLOMENT Michael Nunnelley is in private practice serving the state of Alabama. He specializes in CRIMINAL APPEALS (rule 32 petitions, federal habeas petitions, expungements, petitions for early release), CRIMINAL DEFENSE (experience ranges from DUI to Capital Murder), and CIVIL LITIGATION (personal injury, business litigation, insurance defense). PAST EMPLOMENT Michael Nunnelley joined the Alabama Attorney General's office in 2005 where he worked in Capital Litigation, Criminal Appeals, and at the Department of Human Resources for over 15 years. Before returning to Alabama, Michael worked at Baker Botts, L.L.P. in Houston, Texas, where he worked on complex litigation along with oil and gas law. CREDENTIALS Michael Nunnelley graduated from Harvard Law School where he was Executive Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
