About Matthew Midgett

Matthew graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Georgia in 2001 with a major in Finance. After working as a Financial Intelligence Officer for a major regional bank for several years he attended Georgia State’s College of Law and earned his law degree in 2008. While in law school, Matthew was the President of the Moot Court board and a pupil in the prestigious litigation honor society, the Bleckley Inn of Court. Prior to establishing his own firm, Matthew gained valuable experience in the areas of worker’s compensation, personal injury, criminal and family law matters. He was born in Fort Stewart, Georgia and raised in a military family, moving frequently around the United States and the world. This coupled with his passion for representing clients in family law matters gives him specific insight into the issues that arise for both active and retired military individuals and their dependents going through divorce and child custody cases.
