I am a litigation attorney and the owner of Litico Law Group, located in the suburbs of Chicago. Before establishing my own practice, I worked as a commercial litigation associate in both the Chicago and New York City offices of an elite law firm. My practice at Litico Law Group primarily focuses on representing individuals and businesses in financial disputes, both before and after litigation has commenced. The core areas of my practice include partnership disputes, trust disputes, and breach of contract cases. At Litico, we are particularly skilled in handling partnership and shareholder disputes. We have a thorough understanding of the Illinois Business Corporation Act of 1983, the Illinois Limited Liability Company Act, and the common law of fiduciary duties. These disputes often occur when co-owners of a business can no longer collaborate effectively, leading to issues such as one owner restricting another’s access to information, excluding them from business decision-making, and limiting or removing their financial benefits from the business. Trust disputes bear similarities to partnership disputes, typically involving a trustee who limits a beneficiary's access to information and financial benefits from the trust. In addition to partnership and trust disputes, I litigate general business matters, including breach of contracts, non-disclosure agreements, non-competition agreements, fraud, tortious interference, and various statutory matters, including cases related to the Illinois Wage Act and Trade Secret Act.
