Maria Trafton Available Now

Maria Trafton is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota. Maria received her Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota where she graduated Cum Laude. She received her undergraduate degree in Global Studies from the University of Minnesota. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Maria moved to the Twin Cities to attend college. In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time working on do-it-yourself projects, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Maria has held numerous legal positions in both immigration and family law. While attending law school, Maria participated in William Mitchell’s Immigration Clinic where she handled a variety of different immigration cases. Maria was also a member of the Re-Entry Clinic where she worked on divorce cases and child custody cases. In addition, Maria was the Family Law Clinic Director for the Self-Help Clinic at William Mitchell College of law. Since graduating from law school, Maria has worked as a volunteer attorney with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid where she works on immigration and family law cases. Maria has always had a strong desire to advocate for others who do not have equal access to the legal system. As a student she logged over 500 hours volunteering with the Minnesota Justice Foundation helping low-income clients. Her passion and dedication to helping others will make her fight hard for your case.
