About Lisa Gingeleskie
I have represented and counseled management across all facets of labor and employment law. My work encompasses a variety of issues, including employment discrimination and harassment, breach of contract, violation of restrictive covenants, wrongful termination, and ensuring reasonable accommodations in the workplace. Acting on behalf of corporations, I regularly review and prepare employment policies and employee handbooks to ensure they meet legal standards. I have also assisted in conducting internal investigations into allegations of harassment and other workplace misconduct, and I provide training for both employees and management on employment law matters. My experience extends to significant involvement in state and federal court proceedings, as well as dealings with administrative agencies.
I am also knowledgeable in advising employers on the use of social media for recruiting, hiring, and disciplining employees. In 2017, I hosted a webinar titled "Best Practices for an Employer's Use of Social Media in The Hiring Process." Additionally, I was a co-author of the New Jersey chapter of the 2019 Chambers Global Practice Guide for Regional Employment.
Currently, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Westfield YMCA, in addition to being co-chair of Lindaburyβs Womenβs Business Initiative program.
