Lauren E. Park is a dedicated trial attorney at Levin & Perconti, where she combines her passion for healthcare justice with strong advocacy for individuals harmed by medical or nursing home negligence. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2018 with a Health Law Certificate and editorial experience at Annals of Health Law. Lauren joined Levin & Perconti immediately after graduation, where she began by managing intake and quickly rose to courtroom work. Since 2019, she has helped secure over $45 million for clients, including a $7M medical malpractice settlement, $5M and $4.6M in hospital negligence cases, and a $3M recovery for failure to diagnose cancer. She has also earned multiple six-figure verdicts and settlements in nursing home abuse and assisted living cases. Her work extends beyond litigation. In 2024, Lauren won an appellate court decision that safeguarded an injured resident’s right to a jury trial, helping establish precedent on arbitration clauses in Illinois nursing home cases. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association’s Young Lawyers Division and sits on the Illinois State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Council. Lauren has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and one of Chicago Law Bulletin’s “Emerging Lawyers”—an honor given to fewer than 5% of attorneys under 40. She is also a published author and speaker. Lauren contributed the plaintiff’s chapter to IICLE Long-Term Care Litigation 2023, presented CLEs on the Federal Nursing Home Reform Act, and was featured in the Illinois Bar Journal for her analysis of arbitration in elder-care contracts. A native of Zionsville, Indiana, Lauren earned her B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University. Clients praise her compassion, clarity, and focus.
