Kim Ruder Available Now

Kim is a native Atlantan who grew up in a family of attorneys. She knew at a young age that she had a passion for the law and wanted to be an attorney. Kim attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, graduating at the top of her class. Shortly after graduating, Kim joined one of Atlanta’s top insurance defense law firms where she worked with large national insurance companies in the defense of trucking companies, tractor trailer operators, companies owning and operating commercial vehicles, commercial and residential builders, shopping malls, theme parks, country clubs, security contractors, nursing homes, and doctors. After working as a defense attorney, Kim realized that her heart and passion was on the side of the “V” representing injured people as opposed to insurance companies and large corporations. As a result, she teamed up with Adam Appel and Stephen Dermer, individuals who shared a common background and desire to help others. From her former life, Kim gained substantial knowledge about how insurance companies handle personal injury and wrongful death cases and what makes them “tick”. Her many years of interacting with claims professionals at all levels helped her develop an understanding and appreciation for what pressure points to exert in order to prevail on behalf of her clients and maximize their recoveries. Kim also has extensive experience in trying cases to verdict and won’t compromise a case for less than what it is worth. Kim lives in Roswell with her husband, their two children, and a house full of pets. In her spare time, she enjoys spending her time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, and playing tennis.
