Kevin Nelson Available Now

Kevin Nelson is a commercial trial attorney and shareholder with Tiffany & Bosco, P.A., with extensive experience representing business owners, real estate investors, lenders, and corporations in complex disputes. Although Kevin joined Tiffany & Bosco, P.A.’s Phoenix office almost 20 years ago, since 2019, he has divided his time between the firm’s Michigan and Arizona offices, adapting to a virtual practice well before the pandemic. He is deeply involved in helping clients anticipate and solve business, real estate, and construction law problems through lease and contract negotiations, construction contract negotiations, contract disputes, restrictive covenant (non-compete) disputes, fraud claims, broker commission disputes, insurance bad faith litigation, financial services litigation under the FDCPA, and a wide-range of real estate disputes actions ranging from boundary issues to complex disputes tied to handshake deals and fading records. Recent results include: obtaining a defense judgment, after trial, for a commercial tenant, securing a $1.5M judgment after a jury trial, negotiating the removal of a contractor from a multi-million-dollar project, successfully enforcing restrictive covenants against former employees wrongfully competing against their former employer, successfully defending against claims in alleged business owner disputes (a.k.a., business divorce), obtaining a restrictive covenant settlement from a former employee who had interfered with an employer’s business opportunities during employment, defending corporate officers from $10 million in fraud and contract claims, prosecuting a breach of contract case against a national insurer, and defeating an attempt to certify a class action in federal MDL litigation. When Kevin is not working, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, near a body of water, or traveling to visit my now-adult children.
