Kelsey Moore Available Now

I am a native of West Wichita and graduated from Maize High School. After high school, I attended Kansas State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with an emphasis on Criminology, in 2013. Upon graduating from K-State, I enrolled at Washburn University School of Law and graduated with Dean’s Honors in May 2017. Although I was originally interested in criminal law, my interest in estate planning and administration was sparked when Larson & Brown restated my grandmother’s entire estate plan, which included over 1800 acres of farm and pasture ground in Northeastern Kansas. My involvement in that project also allowed me to understand the estate planning process from the client’s point of view. Some of my fondest childhood memories were made on my grandmother’s farm and I am familiar with the specific issues related to farm families, so I particularly enjoy assisting them with their estate planning and administration needs. Once my grandmother’s new trust plan was complete, I began interning at Larson & Brown during my law school summer and winter breaks. Upon passing the bar exam in July 2017, I began working as an associate attorney at Larson & Brown. I am admitted to practice before all courts in the state of Kansas and am a member of the Kansas Bar Association, Wichita Bar Association, and Wichita Women Attorneys Association. I enjoy the proactive and counseling nature of estate planning. Although I believe that establishing an estate plan is a necessity for everyone, I am also willing and prepared to help clients whose loved ones passed away without an estate plan. In addition to estate planning and trust and probate administration, I also assist clients with powers of attorney, guardianships and conservatorships, special needs trusts, and business planning. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, snow skiing, and watching Martin Scorsese movies.
