About Kathryn Keppel
Kathy joined Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP in 1989 as an associate attorney. Her experience with the firm began even earlier, as she worked at GRGB as a law clerk from March 1985 through May 1986 during law school. Kathy has a distinct ability to make people immediately feel comfortable, but she is also known for her no-nonsense approach and willingness to fight hard for her clients. Kathy has a diverse practice area. She is the firmβs lead appellate attorney and has authored scores of appellate and trial court briefs in all areas of GRGBβs practice. Known as the firm's βwordsmith,β she provides a distinctive written voice to her briefs. Kathy has successfully briefed winning appeals in matters as diverse as contract interpretation, spousal support, criminal and civil rights cases, and procedural matters.
