I, Katherine Kühn, am a dedicated Associate Attorney, committed to assisting clients in Lancaster County, Nebraska, and surrounding areas from our Lincoln office. I pursued my legal education at Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, earning my Juris Doctor in May 2004. During my time at law school, I held the position of President of the Women’s Law Student Association and was actively involved in the Advanced Trial Court Competition and the Trial Court Competition. Prior to law school, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in May 2001 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. I am licensed to practice law across Nebraska. Before my current role with the divorce and family law attorneys at Stange Law Firm in Lincoln, Nebraska, I most recently worked as an attorney with the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy. My role involved legal research, document preparation, and enforcement case evaluations. Earlier, I spent five years as a Deputy County Attorney in Dawson County, where my responsibilities included handling civil, juvenile, and misdemeanor cases, advising county officials, and representing the state in appellate court. My earlier career also includes working as a partner at a law firm in Omaha, an independent contract attorney, and with the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance, where my duties encompassed investigating consumer complaints and conducting hearings. My experience extends across multiple states, including Tennessee and Oklahoma, where I handled litigation, consumer debt negotiation, financial regulations, and foreclosure cases.
