About Karen Appel
I joined the law firm as our primary Family Law practitioner in 1994. In addition to handling divorces and custody disputes, I also enjoy assisting clients in Social Security Disability claims when their benefits have been denied. I obtained my Juris Doctorate from the University of Madison in 1979. Thereafter I spent several years in Family Law and Probate for a Milwaukee firm and as a sole practitioner. I am a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association as well as the State Bar of Wisconsin.
