Attorney Scipione, the founder of Nittany Group, LLC, focuses on contract law, business planning, real estate, and matters concerning oil and gas. He has been a distinguished speaker on various oil and gas panels, serves as a consultant on historical land records at Bucknell University, and has been teaching an oil & gas land title course at Penn State University since the spring of 2013. With extensive experience representing both the oil & gas industry and landowners, he has adeptly handled negotiations involving sales, purchases, leases, and pipeline right-of-way agreements. Mr. Scipione has a proven track record in successfully litigating quiet title actions and cases under the Dormant Oil & Gas Act across more than 25 Pennsylvania counties. Before establishing the Nittany Group, Joseph practiced law and served as a partner at Scipione & Kovalcin, P.C. Prior to that, he was a partner at Thompson Law Offices, LLC, based in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Penn State University Dickinson School of Law, Mr. Scipione is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Clearfield County Bar Association, and Centre County Bar Association. He holds a license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
