John Myers Available Now

I was raised near McMinnville and am a 5th generation Oregonian. I completed my bachelor’s degree in agricultural business management at Oregon State University. Upon graduating I moved home to join my family’s vineyard management and winemaking business, and start my own business, a tavern in downtown McMinnville. During my experience working for my family’s company, I partnered with my parents and siblings through difficult business decisions. This led to an interest in the legal profession and eventually the decision to go to law school. I graduated from Willamette University College of Law cum laude. I also completed the estate planning clinical program while there. I left a Bend estate planning firm in 2020 to start my own firm, The Law Office of John H. Myers, LLC. I have assisted many Central Oregon families and individuals in preparing custom tailored estate plans. Due to my work experience and education, I am adept at identifying and understanding the complexities of family dynamics, and I truly enjoy my role in the estate planning process. I call Sisters, Oregon home where I also maintain my primary office location. I enjoy spending time with my wife Melissa, and dogs Moose and Birdie, reading, travelling, and spending time in the Oregon outdoors.
