John McGuire Available Now

John R. McGuire was born in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Upper Arlington High School. Growing up, John was an avid tennis player and a three time state champion. John attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, graduating with honors and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honorary Society. After graduation, John moved to Colorado to spend more time in the Colorado Rockies and attend the Denver University College of Law. Since graduating from law school, John has focused his practice primarily on tax law and issues & business transactions. As a tax attorney John has assisted many clients with matters before the IRS such as tax debts, tax audits and other tax disputes. Furthermore, John has assisted his individual and business clients with their tax planning needs and analyzing the tax implications of specific transactions. John works with small to medium sized business regarding their formation & structure, contract drafting, review and negotiations and the transfer or sale of business interests and/or assets. In addition to his law degree, John returned to school to obtain a specialized degree in taxation known as an LL.M. John feels that this additional degree and knowledge in taxation allows him to better represent his clients whether before the Internal Revenue Service or in regards to a business transaction. John founded The McGuire Law Firm to assist his clients with their tax matters, issues and questions as well as their business matters. The McGuire Law Firm also provides estate planning services such as the drafting of wills and directive type documents. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife Suzette, daughter Rylan (Remmy) and two dogs. John loves the mountains and is an avid skier, climber and mountaineer.
