Jessica Gill-Sekhon Available Now

I have dedicated my career to criminal defense from the very beginning. During law school, I was actively involved in the Civil Rights and Transparency Clinic, where I worked on significant litigation, including a case against the Department of Defense for privacy violations affecting veterans. I also gained hands-on experience in immigration law, helping clients secure legal status in the United States. My commitment to justice deepened through my participation in the Innocence and Justice Project, Prisoners’ Legal Services, and Prisoners’ Legal Services of New York, where I focused on protecting the rights of the incarcerated and wrongfully convicted. After graduating, I began my legal career at Mountain Law in Mount Vernon, where I provided public defense services to individuals accused of crimes in Mount Vernon and Burlington. It was there that my passion for criminal defense grew as I represented clients facing a range of charges and worked to safeguard their constitutional rights. I later joined the Skagit County Public Defender’s Office, where I spent several years handling adult misdemeanor cases and assisting with high-level felony defense. My dedication and courtroom skills led to my recruitment by Victory Legal in 2023, where I continued to provide determined and client-centered representation. In 2025, I joined Powers Law Group PLLC, where I now represent clients charged with a wide array of offenses, including DUI, assault, sexual assault, and child molestation. I am committed to standing by my clients in the courtroom, fighting for their rights, and delivering the strongest defense possible.
