Jesse Hicks Available Now

Jesse F. Hicks has been an associate at the Shipley Law Firm for seven years. Jesse is a tenacious and passionate trial attorney and his experience as a prosecutor and a defense attorney is uniquely valuable when defending his clients. Born in Ridgefield, Connecticut, Jesse moved to the Eastern Shore and started a family after law school. Upon graduating law school, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Paul M. Bowman, Circuit Court Judge for Kent County. Following his clerkship, Jesse served as a Dorchester County Assistant State's Attorney. He is barred in both Maryland and Connecticut. While working as an Assistant State's Attorney, Jesse specialized in cases involving felony drugs, handguns, the Department of Natural Resources, DUI offenses, and serious automobile accidents. Jesse was also specially appointed to the Attorney General's Task Force on Environmental Enforcement and the Attorney General's Task Force on Organized Crime. As a defense attorney, Jesse has experience in cases ranging from simple speeding tickets to serious felony crimes.
