Family law matters, such as divorce, can be challenging for anyone to navigate. When these issues arise, it’s essential to have someone by your side who will protect your rights and provide support when you need it most. I am Jeffrey Sedlacek, a Senior Associate Attorney with Stange Law Firm, based in our Clayton, MO, family law office. I am here to assist individuals throughout St. Louis County, MO, and the surrounding areas. I earned my Juris Doctor degree with a Health Law Certificate from St. Louis University School of Law. Before attending law school, I completed both my Master of Business Administration in Management and Information Systems Specialization and my Bachelor of Science in Computer Management and Information Systems at Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. At Stange Law Firm, I bring a background rooted in compliance, risk management, and client advocacy. Most recently, I served as Compliance Manager at Gateway Regional Medical Center, where I worked closely with patients, providers, and staff to resolve sensitive complaints and grievances with care and understanding. In that role, I also managed risk management efforts, improved record-keeping processes, and ensured that policies and agreements adhered to legal and ethical standards. Prior to that, I managed compliance programs at Anderson Healthcare and Home State Health, where I provided guidance on complex regulatory matters, supported clients and providers in resolving disputes, and helped enhance systems to protect those relying on critical services. Earlier in my career, I worked directly with individuals as an attorney, advising clients on Social Security Disability claims, crafting legal strategies, and managing high caseloads with diligence and compassion.
