About Jay Levit
Experience is the lifeblood of a lawyer's success. Jay Levit's experience in law is both educational and professional. Mr. Jevit graduated with a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Harvard Law School. An early paper of his received special "honors" and was deposited into the Harvard Law Library. Shortly after graduating, Mr. Levit joined the faculty at the University of Michigan Law School as an instructor. The next four years were spent as a trial and appellate attorney for the US Department of Justice. About 1% of lawyers experience arguing before the full United States Supreme Court, as Jay Levit has.
An early mentor set Mr. Levit on his path to Labor and Employment Law. In addition, he handles White Collar Criminal Defense Cases. Mr. Levit's attention to detail is unsurpassed. He uses his vast knowledge and experience to ensure his clients receive the best possible representation. His approach is to negotiate mutual resolutions to labor and white collar criminal defense. This is done through his substancial experience with problem solving through arbitration, mediation and discussion. With ligitation being a last resort.
