Attorney James Houston Washburn is a third-generation lawyer in his family. Both of his parents practiced law in Gwinnett County. He earned a B.S. in Public and International Affairs from the University of Georgia and obtained his J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. He is licensed to handle cases in the State of Georgia, United States of America’s Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. He is a member of the Gwinnett Bar Association, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL), the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD0, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), and the American Association of Justice (AAJ).
