James Bickerton Available Now

Jim Bickerton is an experienced and accomplished Hawaii Attorney. For more than 35 years he has represented clients in an array of areas, including Commercial and Real Estate Litigation, Consumer Class Actions, Professional Liability, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and First Amendment and Defamation matters. Jim's skilled and knowledgeable advocacy has led to hundreds of successful outcomes. Jim has received numerous awards. He has been named among Hawaii’s A+ Attorneys, as well as Best Lawyer in Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Legal Malpractice, Personal Injury, and Plaintiff Medical Malpractice. Jim has also been named a Super Lawyer for consecutive years. Additional honors include recognition from the Hawaii Supreme Court for his pro bono work with the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation Jim was born in England and has lived in Africa, the Caribbean, South America, and Europe. He has been in Hawaii since 1972, where he graduated from Roosevelt High School in Honolulu. Jim received a B.A. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 1978, and a J.D. from the U.C.L.A. School of Law in 1981. Outside of work, Jim enjoys spending time with his family. In addition, he still takes on the challenge of big wave surfing and tow-surfing on Oahu’s North Shore.
