James S. Bettersworth, who hails from Texas, completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Lutheran University and earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's Law School in 1997. Upon graduating from St. Mary's, he was granted his license to practice law in Texas on June 4th, 1998.
