About Jackson Estrin
I work with clients across all of the firmβs practice areas, including criminal defense, employment, higher education, and appeals.
I joined Zalkind as an associate in 2025 after completing law school. During my time in law school, I interned for the Honorable Patti B. Saris at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, at a labor and employment law firm in Boston, and at the United States Department of Justice. I also contributed to a Cambridge-based immigration nonprofit organization, where I helped employers sponsor immigrant workers for Permanent Resident Cards. Before attending law school, I served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic, working as a Spanish Literacy Promoter at a primary school.
My path to law school followed several years of working in education, where I collaborated with educators in the Dominican Republic and Spain, overcoming cross-cultural challenges. My decision to pursue a legal career was shaped by formative internship experiences during college, where I worked at a public defenderβs office and a small criminal defense firm. These experiences showed me the significant impact that effective legal representation can have on peopleβs lives. I am dedicated to advocating for individual rights and helping clients navigate the legal system.
