I am Ian E. Scott, the founder and Managing Partner of Scott Legal, P.C. I hold a law degree from Harvard Law School and have also earned an undergraduate degree and an M.B.A from the University of Toronto in Canada. In addition to my legal qualifications, I am a Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) and have gained valuable experience working at Credit Suisse Investment Bank, the Bank of Montreal, and Ernst & Young. My insights and contributions have been featured in various prestigious publications including Forbes, Bloomberg Law, Above the Law, New York Times, NBC News, Super Lawyers, EB-5 Investors, American Bar Association, Business Insider, Martindale-Hubbell, AVVO, Lawyerist, and the New York State Bar Association. I am also the author of "Law School Lowdown" published by Simon & Schuster Publishing. I established Scott Legal, P.C. while on an E-2 visa and have navigated through various non-immigrant visas in the U.S., such as E-2, TN, H-1B, B-1, and F-1 visas. I am admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey.
