Before opening a law practice, Grover "Pete" Peters served in the military and then served as a healthcare executive. Pete is a retired U.S. Army Medical Service Corps officer and a former healthcare executive having served as a COO, CIO, and CEO of various healthcare organizations and systems across the United States. In addition to practicing law, Pete has extensive experience in business development. He regularly consults with providers and medical groups developing freestanding emergency departments and micro hospitals. In fact, he assisted in drafting legislation related to providers owning freestanding emergency departments. Pete is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) licensed flight instructor for airplanes and helicopters, so in his free time he is often instructing and flying.
