About Greg Shevlin
Gregory L. Shevlin is a seasoned personal injury attorney with a rich legal background that allows him to serve clients effectively and compassionately. A former partner at Cook, Bartholomew, Shevlin, Cook & Jones, LLP, Gregory established his solo practice to leverage his experience effectively and provide individual attention to the people who need it most.
Greg attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy in 1985. He then attended Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where he earned his Juris Doctor. While there, Greg distinguished himself academically, earning a place on the Deanβs List and graduating With high honors.
Greg brings a wealth of experience to his practice. He began his legal career as an Assistant Stateβs Attorney in St. Clair County from 1988 to 1989. This work shaped Gregβs approach to law, giving him a deep understanding of the criminal justice system and a strong foundation in trial work. He has practiced injury law since joining his former firm in 1989.
Greg has been admitted to practice in Illinois since 1988 and in Missouri since 1996. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court Southern District of Illinois, the U.S. Court of Appeals 7th Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
