Gerald Moore Available Now

Gerald A. Moore earned his Juris Doctor degree from the American University, Washington College of Law in 2004. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, and Washington, DC. Prior to founding the Law Office of Gerald A. Moore in Washington, DC, Mr. Moore worked as an associate at Obineche Law Firm, LLC in Greenbelt, Maryland. While there he assisted the firm’s founding partner with handling employment, immigration, and personal injury cases. Mr. Moore has also worked for the United States Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs for 18 years. He was responsible for the release or denial of U.S. passport records to law enforcement and the public under the provisions of the Privacy Act, and the Freedom of Information Act. Further, as a civil servant Mr. Moore served as Chief Steward for the National Federation of Federal Employees Local 1998, in 2013, and 2014. In this role, he represented 1500 bargaining unit members of the United States Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs, Passport Services. Mr. Moore has given back to the Washington DC Metropolitan Community as a housing advocate with the Coalition for the Homeless. He arranged permanent housing for family shelter residents using government and private resources.
