About Emily Weinberger

Emily Weinberger received a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in May of 2023 and was sworn into the State Bar of Michigan in November of 2023. During her time in law school, Emily served as the President of the Student Bar Association and as an Associate Editor of the Animal and Natural Resource Law Review Journal. In addition, Emily worked for MSU College of Law’s McClellan Free Speech Online Library providing resources for students to learn about their First Amendment rights. Emily also spent time working with the Legal Aid and Defender Association, advising clients through Michigan’s Eviction Moratorium Program during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to law school, Emily received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Wayne State University. With a passion for research and writing, Emily has contributed many articles to Serling and Abramson’s digital blog and helped author the firm’s Michigan Mesothelioma and Lung Cancer Guide. As a lifelong volunteer with adults and children with special needs, Emily has a deep-rooted interest in continuing to work with individuals who face disparities. ­­­­­
