About Diana Young
Diana Whipkey Young is a lifelong resident of Marietta, where she has been passionately practicing law since 1983 and has earned the respect of judges and fellow attorneys. Ms. Young developed a solid foundation in the courtroom when she began her career as a prosecutor in the Cobb County Solicitor’s Office. During this time, she gained valuable insight into the courtroom process. Accordingly, Ms. Young’s ability to offer a prosecutor’s perspective compliments her legal knowledge and enhances her understanding of criminal law and how to effectively advocate on her client’s behalf. Diana Whipkey Young’s decades of experience have enabled her to master the complexities of divorce and family law, as well as the relevant social and economic circumstances affecting our diverse community of clients. With Marietta facing one of the most elevated divorce rates in Georgia, Ms. Young excels at providing strong counsel and representation in traditional cases, as well as cutting-edge family law matters, such as international family law and high-asset divorce. Since founding The Young Law Firm, Ms. Young has experienced tremendous success and developed an impressive portfolio of satisfied clients thankful that they came to her for help. Young Law handles family law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, property division, alimony and spousal support, fathers’ rights, domestic violence, divorce modification, and wills and probate. In addition, we provide criminal defense, spanning issues involving DUI, administrative license suspensions, minor in possession charges, drug offenses and theft charges. Ms. Young is further skilled in personal injury law, business litigation, contract disputes and general trial litigation.
