About Daniel ›
I provide support to families navigating the challenging period following the loss of a loved one, focusing on probate, estate and trust administration, and tax-related issues. From 2003 to 2008, I worked as a public administrator in Wake County, where I frequently assumed responsibilities such as Administrator of a decedent’s estate or Guardian of the Estate for an individual deemed incompetent. These positions gave me significant experience in managing estates and guardianships.
I was born in Oxford, North Carolina in 1975. I pursued my undergraduate education at North Carolina State University, where I graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. I continued my studies at Campbell University, earning a JD from the School of Law and an MBA from the School of Business in 2001.
Following my graduation, I started my legal career at Pinna, Johnston & Burwell, P.A. in 2001 and became a partner in 2005. I remained in this position until 2021, when Pinna Johnston & Burwell merged with Envisage Law.
